We have postponed our P&P this week to next week,

We have postponed our P&P this week to next week, as we are co-hosting our first speaker event with the Rt Hon Philip Davies MP this Thursday instead!

The event will take place in KCL, and all those wishing to attend are required to drop us a message so that we can get the right names on the KCL Security list by end of play Wednesday! For ease of getting there, we shall meet at the Lyceum Tavern from 18:30, and then make a move for KCL at 18:50.

There will of course be a trip to the pub afterwards in order to socialise!

We're delighted to unveil our two motions for Thur

We're delighted to unveil our two motions for Thursday's P&P! They are very much designed to invite opinions and thoughts from all manner of viewpoints - and every contribution, from a heckling jeer or "hear hear" to a two minute floor speech from the thickest of Thatcherite manifestos (or a lyrical ballad form Das Kapital) is welcome with open arms!

We are looking for two speakers for and against each motion, to prepare a short 4-5 minute speech before opening the debate up to the floor, if this interests you - please do get in touch!

This event shall be for UCL students only, and is free of charge - the only thing charged shall be our glasses with ample amounts of port!

On the 26th October we shall be electing the remainder of our committee, specifically the following four positions:

Editor of The Caerulean
First Year Representative
Campaign Secretary
Vice President & Welfare Officer

The first three shall be voted for in person at the meeting with the latter being a vote through the SU website.

Any member considering or wishing to run is more than welcome to get in touch for more details by DM or email to ucltories@gmail.com

To stand for election, a member must email ucltories@gmail.com with a seconder. Members are only able to run for one position.
